Spring and Summer Vacation Schemes
The Vacation Scheme is a great opportunity to get a first sense of life at the firm and a flavour of the work and people you’ll be working alongside. Our Vacation Scheme is the only way to be considered for a training contract position at the firm. To be eligible, you'll need to be in the penultimate year of your degree or beyond.
Stage 1: Application form
You'll be required to submit an online application which details your work and education history, and you'll also need to answer some competency questions. We work with Rare Contextualised Recruitment, so every application we receive is looked at in context. You will also need to add a covering letter.
You can find the application form at: taylorwessing.com/graduates
Applications open 1 September for Spring and 1 October for Summer
Stage 2: Online assessment
After screening your online application you'll be required to complete an online assessment. Once completed, you'll be notified as to whether you will be moving forward to stage 3 of our process.
Stage 3: Written exercise
Once you have completed the application and online tests, you may be invited to complete an online written exercise. This exercise is designed to assess your analytical, commercial and written communication skills. Following the written exercise, you'll be notified as to whether you have been successful in gaining a place at our assessment centre.
Stage 4: Assessment centre
Taking place between January and March, the assessment centre is the final stage of our process. The assessment centre consists of two exercises - a commercial awareness exercise and a competency-based interview. Both provide an opportunity for you to show your commerciality, relevant to a career at Taylor Wessing, along with your motivations and the skills you have for a successful career with us.
Stage 5: Vacation Scheme offer
If you're successful, you'll receive a Vacation Scheme offer. More detailed information on what to expect during your Scheme is available here.
Stage 6: Training contract offer
During your Vacation Scheme you will be assessed for a training contract by completing a group task and via feedback we receive from representatives from the firm. If you are successful, you will be provided with a training contract offer at the end of the scheme.
Taylor Wessing is a disability confident organisation. If you require support for any reason, including support relating to a disability or health condition during our application process, please let us know. All information is treated as confidential.
